Ulavacharu Biriyani Movie Full Review

Story:

Food-love, as convincing and fresh as it may sound gets a fitting visual companion in the form of Ulavacharu Biryani where it serves as a messenger to bring souls together. Prakash Raj plays the role of Kalidasa, an employee in state archaeological department. Sneha plays the role of a dubbing artist named Gowri. Both are in their late ages, yet unmarried. Accidentally they get to know each other with a miss-dialed call. One they they decide to meet each other. But, with an intention to hide their true identity both of them send their relatives. Tejas plays nephew to Prakash while Samyuktha plays Sneha’s sister. How this meet changes the lives of all the four forms the heart of the story.

Performances:
Prakash and Sneha steal the show while Tejas and Samyuktha stand next in the line. Sneha dominated the whole film making an excellent comeback. Other character artists like Brahmaji, MS Narayana, Aishwarya had very little to perform and they did well in the role allocated to them.

Technical Aspects:
Cinematography dominates the entire technical department. Infact, it remains a saving grace. The editing should have been much better. If it was, movie would have had many gripping elements. Direction by Prakash raj is not as upto the expected level. Screenplay is very dragging, should have been better.

Rating : 2.8/5
